Aside from the CPX center pivot the FLX-guard is in place to further eliminate cable torque by containing the cable with minimal friction all the while flexing inwards absorbing cable guard torque as the bow is draw and shot. When drawing back the BowTech Invasion CPX the draw weight increases gradually from rest to full draw until it hits a creep less wall. There is no harsh cam hump to overcome before full draw is hit which many will appreciate after shooting for the first time. As the Destroyer, the Invasion carries the same carbon rod string stop that transfers energy directly into the stabilizer making for a shock free crisp shot. As a bare bow, the Invasion CPX is bottom heavy on a minuscule level, leaning back after the shot opposed to launching forward as most bows do. The BowTech Invastion CPX is basically a hybrid of the smooth, noiseless, shock free original center pivot BowTech bows and the blazing speed and performance of the Destroyer 350.
